Walk Over The Brooklyn Bridge and Gaze Up At USA Flag Banners!

All Star Graphics produces stadium flags and flag banners for a range of high-profile clients in New York City, including the New York Yankees, Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Brooklyn Bridge, which sports the stars and stripes of the USA flag.

Spring is the perfect time to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge and enjoy unrivaled views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Built in 1883 and at 5,989 feet (or 1825 meters), the Brooklyn Bridge was the longest suspension bridge in the world until 1903 and is an iconic part of the city’s skyline.

To walk over the bridge from Manhattan, take the 4, 5 or 6 train to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, or the J train to Chambers Street. Head up the concrete ramp, and once your feet are on the stately wooden ramps, you know you’re on the bridge. Make sure you keep clear of the bike lane.

From the bridge, you’ll see iconic structures including the Empire State Building and the Woolworths Building. The Statue of Liberty is to the right, and the Manhattan Bridge is to the left.

The Yankees Won, and So Did Our Stadium Flags!

stadium flagsTake a look at that big blue sky. It was a lovely day last Tuesday, and Yankee Stadium looked beautiful decorated with printed banners and flags by www.AllStarGraphics.com. Shortly after this picture was taken, fans poured into the stadium to support the 2009 World Series champions as they faced the Los Angeles Angels for their season home opener.

The Yanks managed to pull off a 7-5 victory over the Angels, however Tuesday’s game was not without its surprises. By the end of the eighth inning, the Yankees had 7 runs to the Angels’ 1, but the L.A. team came close to turning it around in the top of the ninth, scoring an impressive 4 runs.

But before the game even started, former Yankee (and current Angel) Hideki Matsui received a warm welcome in Yankee Stadium, as he was given his championship ring for the 2009 World Series. As a prank, the Yankees at first presented Matsui with a replica ring, then Joe Girardi, the manager, gave him the real one during the pregame introductions.

All Star Graphics was happy to be a part of such a memorable game, as our stadium flags celebrated the Yanks’ 27 World Series championship wins, and our red, white, and blue bunting reminded us that baseball is, after all, America’s pastime.

Check Out Our Flag Banners in Yankee Stadium!

flag banners
Fans of the New York Yankees rejoiced last fall when the team won the 2009 World Series – the Yanks’ first since the year 2000 – and now it’s time to gear up for another exciting season. The Yankees play their first home game tomorrow in the recently renovated stadium, and All Star Graphics is joining in on the fun with special opening day flag banners commemorating the team’s 27 championship victories.

From the Yankees’ 1923 triumph over the New York Giants (now in San Francisco) to last year’s 4–3 win against the Philadelphia Phillies, www.AllStarGraphics.com created a banner for every championship, including the new world champion logo celebrating all 27 wins – the highest in the league! We also produced the red, white, and blue bunting that will be present throughout the stadium.

So, why do the Yankees love All Star Graphics?

We may not have 40 American League pennants under our belt, but All Star Graphics provides the customer service worthy of champions. For the Yankees, we’re in charge of both decorating the stadium and removing the decorations in time for Wednesday’s game.

At www.AllStarGraphics.com, we provide printed banners and flags with this level of customer service to clients of all kinds – even Red Sox fans!

Our Outdoor Banners & Flags are Coming to Belmont Park!

outdoor banners
AllStarGraphics.com is excited to announce one of our latest large projects: New York’s Belmont Park! The New York Racing Association has given All Star Graphics the honor of decorating the Belmont Park racetrack with our outdoor banners and flags – which means they’ll be up for opening day and the ever-important Belmont Stakes!

The Belmont Stakes represents the last – and often most compelling – round of the Triple Crown, as the 1.5 mile track at Belmont Park is much longer than those of the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. This means that even top-rated horses can flounder when thrown off by the increased distance, allowing for some huge upsets. The Belmont Stakes is also famous for the white carnations hung around the winning horse’s neck.

To check out the Belmont Stakes – and our incredible flag banners – mark your calendars for Friday, April 30, which is Belmont Park’s opening day, and Saturday, June 5, the day of the big race! And, whether you’re hosting a horse race, a fire sale, or anything in between, remember to choose AllStarGraphics.com for all your customized vinyl banners and flags.
